Kyrstan Hubbel
Mount Yale Project Manager
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative

Kyrstan is a native of northeastern Kansas, where she received a degree in Wildlife Biology from Baker University.  Soon thereafter, she hit the trails with the Colorado Fourteeners Initiative as an Outdoor Leadership Intern.  In 2008, she found herself returning to help support the restoration efforts on various Fourteeners as the Restoration Technician.  The following summer she took a trip up to the northern Rockies region where she led a trail crew for the Montana Conservation Corps.  Kyrstan had the privilege to work in areas such as Glacier National Park and the Bob Marshall Wilderness Complex, among others.  This summer she can be found on Mount Yale with her co leader Jeff Goldberg and crew from the Rocky Mountain Youth Corps.

Mount Yale Project Manager
Colorado Fourteeners Initiative

Jeff is new to Colorado Fourteeners Initiative for the 2010 season. Originally from New Jersey, Jeff moved to Colorado in 2007 shortly after earning his degree in business and economics from American University. Jeff’s start in the conservation world began with the Coconino Rural Environment Corps in 2008. Since then he has led volunteer/backpacking trips to Costa Rica, supervised a Southwest Conservation Corps crew in Tucson, and worked a variety of jobs in the ski industry. When not working on the trail, Jeff can be found ski touring, rock climbing, mountain biking, or simply enjoying a cup of coffee at your local coffee shop.
